There's something magical about Daniel Radcliffe. But considering he plays the most magical character in Hollywood, we guess this shouldn't come as a surprise. Recently, this adorable, blue-eyed Brit cast a spell on us when we chatted with him about The Prisoner of Azkaban, behind-the-scenes antics, and the magic in his own life. Check it out!

What made filming The Prisoner of Azkaban different from filming the other Harry Potter movies? I look at this film as a more emotional journey for Harry. You always have to concentrate on set, but a lot of this was very challenging emotionally. It’s in the nature of the books -- they get darker.
Everyone knows and loves you as Harry Potter. Do you think that'll make it hard to get other movie roles in the future? What I think is great about the character of Harry is that there are many different sides to him, so I think it's nearly impossible to get type-cast.
Does being Harry change your perspective when you read the books? I do picture myself as Harry. But I'm able to detach myself from being the person who plays the part and just be a person that enjoys the books themselves.
Have you added characteristics to Harry that J.K. Rowling didn't put in the books? I don't think so, because I think it's very important to portray the character. If none of yourself is in the character already, don't bring any in.
Did you and the cast ever do anything silly behind the scenes? There was a very quiet scene, and it was very low lighting, and all the kids in Hogwarts -- about 400 people -- are all in sleeping bags in the Great Hall. Michael Gambon (Albus Dumbledore)and Alan Rickman (Professor Snape) are walking down the center aisle, and at the end of the take, this really loud farting noise comes from a rock sack to the right of me. And what had happened was Alfonso Cuaron [the director] and Alan had planted this fart machine in there, and then set it off in front of all the other kids. Since it was between me and Devon Murray (Seamus), we were blaming each other until we discovered it was coming from neither of us!
And what is this we heard about a miniature golf course? Of course! The golf course! Yeah! [Rupert Grint and I] made a golf course in his room. We made it surpisingly well with the things that we had. We had a big cardboard box that we'd taken from makeup and hair, and we made some big propellers for a windmill. And then we basically ripped a fan apart to make the windmill. Then we managed to charge people admission for it.
You get to play one of the most magical people in literary history. What has been the most magical moment of your real life? One of the most special moments was when I was actually told I had gotten the part of Harry Potter. I mean, that was really amazing. Another amazing moment was being in Kyoto in the temples in Japan. It's so calm and really tranquil -- it's wonderful.
See Daniel for yourself in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, which hits theaters on June 4!
